Back from school anniversary, a very tiring and long day.
2day afternoon go to school put down our things at the Ava room and then go to the canteen to have our lunch and then a lot of people complain that the food very cheapskate, u can look at the picture above to see what i mean. Only a piece of chicken, a piece of cabbage and 1 slice of cucumber. After eating we go change and make-up and then practice the songs.
Then we go down to the hall in a proper manner. Sit down watch the band play the music and the
UG performing on the 2 screen in the hall. Then the
vip, Mr
bala our founding Principal arrived and entered the school hall. When the MC said
pls raise for the school song some guest laugh,
mayb they think that it is funny to sing the school song during a school event. After the school song is the opening speech by the
vip.
In Mr
bala speech he thank all the people that help making riverside one of the best neighbourhood school. He mentioned Miss Tan
Chong Hui who raise the school physic MSG to 1.89 which means almost everyone got a A1 and after so many years she is still teaching general science and physics which make her the longest serving teacher in riverside.
Then, in Mrs Pang
speech she introduce our next principal whose name i had forgotten. Mrs pang said that it is fortunate that MOE sent her as she is a very good principal or something like that.
After the speech was the prize presentation which is very boring, but need to stay awake and
dont talk through it because so many people looking. After that is the concert and then the choir sang idem-
dem malida, the
Indian dance perform something related to horse, the
Malay dance perform something about happiness, the
Chinese dance perform
something about the flow of the wave or something related to that and finally the modern dance danced something which i think is related to
Thai because of sound of
elephant and a
thailish-modern music. After that is the finale where the drama perform and when a boy pretending to be Mr bala everybody laugh as his cloth is similar to what mr bala is wearing and overall they look alike. Then we sang light of the north and after that we go back to Ava and change.
Then i, keen hoe and teck chuan stay back to eat with the guest while Seng ming and the others say go to macdonald to eat. At first we dont dare to step in but mrs selvan saw and say go ahead and eat so we did. After eating we went to cwp to meet sheng ming at macdonalds and then go there play poker cards and chat after that we went home.
