Back from school anniversary, a very tiring and long day.
2day afternoon go to school put down our things at the Ava room and then go to the canteen to have our lunch and then a lot of people complain that the food very cheapskate, u can look at the picture above to see what i mean. Only a piece of chicken, a piece of cabbage and 1 slice of cucumber. After eating we go change and make-up and then practice the songs.

Then we go down to the hall in a proper manner. Sit down watch the band play the music and the UG performing on the 2 screen in the hall. Then the vip, Mr bala our founding Principal arrived and entered the school hall. When the MC said pls raise for the school song some guest laugh, mayb they think that it is funny to sing the school song during a school event. After the school song is the opening speech by the vip.

In Mr bala speech he thank all the people that help making riverside one of the best neighbourhood school. He mentioned Miss Tan Chong Hui who raise the school physic MSG to 1.89 which means almost everyone got a A1 and after so many years she is still teaching general science and physics which make her the longest serving teacher in riverside.

Then, in Mrs Pang speech she introduce our next principal whose name i had forgotten. Mrs pang said that it is fortunate that MOE sent her as she is a very good principal or something like that.

After the speech was the prize presentation which is very boring, but need to stay awake and dont talk through it because so many people looking. After that is the concert and then the choir sang idem-dem malida, the Indian dance perform something related to horse, the Malay dance perform something about happiness, the Chinese dance perform something about the flow of the wave or something related to that and finally the modern dance danced something which i think is related to Thai because of sound of elephant and a thailish-modern music. After that is the finale where the drama perform and when a boy pretending to be Mr bala everybody laugh as his cloth is similar to what mr bala is wearing and overall they look alike. Then we sang light of the north and after that we go back to Ava and change.

Then i, keen hoe and teck chuan stay back to eat with the guest while Seng ming and the others say go to macdonald to eat. At first we dont dare to step in but mrs selvan saw and say go ahead and eat so we did. After eating we went to cwp to meet sheng ming at macdonalds and then go there play poker cards and chat after that we went home.

THE END

Today very shiok no school because of SFY, hope i didnt missed much and there is not much hw. today waked up at 10:45, then eat breakfast, go wear sch pe shirt with the choir costume de pants and black shoes. When i reached the mrt felt very weird wearing like that with people looking at me in a strange way.

Reach school saw 2/4 walking out of music room and back to class, then mdm ng rush to ava to open the door to let us put down our things and change up. I change finish then mdm Ng need all the boys to put powder. Then mdm ng tell us to take the so call "magic potion" which is Pei Pa Koa. After that the pianist and miss choo come and then we warm up. After warm up we go do more make-up and then wax the hair, then arif go help me gel the hair until look very funny. Lucky nobody take picture of me with hair looking like that.

After make-up and preparing we go on the bus and take half an hour to Victoria concert hall. The bus was like the aircon got problem so hot. We get there go to the sound proof room and practice. Then we go to the side of the hall where the audience cant see us and then go through the door and into the stage. Saw Mr Kok and Mrs Singh on the third row and Mrs pang somewhere behind them which made me more nervous. After several place adjustment we sang the set piece for this year syf "everyone sang" then change place sang "Ca the yaows" and the change place once again and sang "iddem dem mallida" then get off the stage and it's the end of our performance.

Then go watch the last choir of the day Westwood Secondary school and they sound good for the set piece. then go wait for the result. Sat there for a long time and then finally the result, the host invite the judges out and then read the award by order of appearance where we r the second last. The choir in front of us river valley got gold with honors and we got silver and westwood got sliver. After the result we leave the building and wait for our bus. Then mrs pang come cheer us up saying we did our best i think she also disappointed that we got silver.

we get on the same air-con spoiled bus and the sang songs back to school. the singing was like shouting and ppl were singing their sorrow out like those drunk ppl go sing karaoke. The bus stuck in heavy traffic and reached school at 7:20+ go ava take photo and the take our stuff go back home.

When i reach home, go bath and remove the gal and make-up. then on com and blog. THE ENd of the day and the next event is school anniversary rehearsal which is Thursday so busy week.
